Pear Bunny Salad (Print)

Juicy pears become adorable bunnies nestled on lettuce beds, decorated with carrot features and almond ears.

# What You Need:

01 - 2 ripe canned or poached pear halves, drained
02 - 4 large lettuce leaves
03 - 1 medium carrot, peeled

04 - 4 tablespoons cottage cheese

→ Garnish & Decorations

05 - 8 mini raisins or currants
06 - 4 sliced almonds
07 - 4 maraschino cherries or red grapes
08 - 1 tablespoon mayonnaise (optional)

# How to Make:

01 - Arrange lettuce leaves on four small salad plates to create a grassy foundation for each bunny.
02 - Place pear halves cut side down onto each lettuce leaf to form the bunny's body.
03 - Add a small mound of cottage cheese at the narrow end of each pear. Optionally add a dab of mayonnaise for extra fluffiness.
04 - Slice carrot into thin rounds. Use a paring knife to cut small feet and whiskers for each bunny.
05 - Press sliced almonds upright into the wider end of each pear to create ears.
06 - Place two raisins or currants for eyes and position a cherry or grape for the nose on each bunny.
07 - Position carrot feet and whiskers at the front of each bunny. Serve immediately for best presentation.
