# What You Need:

→ Base

01 - 8 oz cream cheese, softened
02 - 1 cup sour cream
03 - 1 cup shredded cheddar cheese
04 - 1 cup shredded Monterey Jack cheese
05 - 1/2 cup grated Parmesan cheese
06 - 4-5 fresh jalapeños, seeded and finely diced (or 1/2 cup jarred jalapeños, chopped)
07 - 2 cloves garlic, minced
08 - 1/2 tsp smoked paprika
09 - 1/4 tsp salt
10 - 1/4 tsp black pepper

→ Topping

11 - 1/2 cup Panko breadcrumbs
12 - 1/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
13 - 2 tbsp unsalted butter, melted
14 - 2 tbsp chopped fresh parsley (optional)

# How to Make:

01 - Preheat the oven to 375°F. Lightly grease a 9-inch round baking dish or similar oven-safe dish with cooking spray or butter.
02 - In a large mixing bowl, combine the softened cream cheese, sour cream, shredded cheddar, Monterey Jack, Parmesan, diced jalapeños, minced garlic, smoked paprika, salt, and black pepper. Mix thoroughly until all ingredients are evenly incorporated and the mixture is smooth.
03 - Spread the cheese mixture evenly into the prepared baking dish, using a spatula to smooth the top surface.
04 - In a small bowl, combine the Panko breadcrumbs, grated Parmesan, and melted butter. Stir until the breadcrumbs are evenly coated with the butter.
05 - Sprinkle the breadcrumb mixture evenly over the top of the dip. Bake for 20-25 minutes until the dip is bubbly around the edges and the topping is golden brown.
06 - Remove from the oven and let the dip cool for 5 minutes to set. Garnish with chopped fresh parsley if desired. Serve warm accompanied by tortilla chips, crackers, or sliced baguette.

# Expert Advice:

01 -
  • That moment when the golden brown topping emerges from the oven and everyone actually stops talking about the game
  • You can prep it hours ahead and just pop it in when guests arrive, leaving you free to actually enjoy your own party
02 -
  • Letting the dip rest for exactly 5 minutes after baking is crucial, it thickens up just enough and keeps that cheese stretch when you scoop
  • Serve this with sturdy chips because regular tortilla chips will break under the weight of all that cheesy goodness
03 -
  • Room temperature ingredients combine more smoothly, so take everything out of the fridge about 30 minutes before starting
  • Broil for just 1 to 2 minutes at the very end if you want extra browning on top, but watch it like a hawk
