→ Other

18 - 0.5 cup water or vegetable broth
19 - Cooked basmati rice or naan, for serving (optional)

# How to Make:

01 - Warm olive oil or ghee in a large skillet over medium heat. Add cumin seeds and allow them to sizzle for about 30 seconds.
02 - Add chopped onion. Sauté for 4 to 5 minutes until translucent. Incorporate garlic, grated ginger, and green chili if using. Stir and cook for 1 minute.
03 - Add diced tomato and cook for 5 minutes, stirring occasionally, until the tomato softens and the mixture thickens.
04 - Sprinkle in ground coriander, ground cumin, turmeric powder, chili powder, and salt. Mix thoroughly and allow spices to cook for 1 to 2 minutes.
05 - Add drained chickpeas. Mix to coat with the spices and cook for 2 minutes.
06 - Pour in water or vegetable broth. Bring to a gentle simmer and cook uncovered for 7 to 8 minutes, letting flavors combine and liquid reduce slightly.
07 - Remove the pan from heat. Allow to cool for 2 minutes, then gently stir in Greek yogurt until the sauce is creamy. Do not return to heat after adding yogurt.
08 - Stir in garam masala and freshly ground black pepper. Adjust salt if needed. Serve hot, garnished with chopped cilantro, alongside basmati rice or naan if desired.
